So I wanted breakfast this morning and as I'm a creature of habit I ordered my usual. Egg McMuffin, strawberry banana smoothie and a hash brown. The only difference today was this is not my McDonald's, but it was on the way to where I was headed. Service was great, and I ordered, paid, and received my order within just a couple of minutes so all good there. Now the food on the other hand, well definitely not a meal I could enjoy. The hash brown was basically burnt, it even tasted like old oil, the egg McMuffin was so dry I probably could have eaten carpet with more moisture. If that hadn't already ruined breakfast wait there's more...my smoothie was like water. It went down smooth all right. I don't know what they are doing in there but please do something else. I would have rather kept my $13 and went somewhere else. So the short version of this review is: Service:Good, Food:Bad. Everything was fresh and the McDonald's girl even gave me medium frie free because we both agreed they were way over priced when my bill was only 6 something and it jumped to 10 something after I ordered them. She smiled and cancelled them. She might have noticed I am homeless at this point in my life due to life circumstances because my boyfriend and I's white Silverado diesel truck was packed to the bone with a lot of our belongings. I wish we were at a better spot in our lives but it really makes me say "I'm loving it" when a true stranger does the smallest gesture for you and your day gets better.
