Crystal, the shift leader this morning, was excellent in my time of confusion. I had placed an order on the app, but when I got to the restaurant, it wouldn't let me check in. She assured me that my order was taken care of, and my coffee really hit the spot this morning. Thank you! Waiting in the drive through for 28 minutes. They had to come out twice to ask what I had ordered which was a filet of fish meal with a large drink. No special order. After finally getting my food no apology just a there you go. 3 other cars also waiting in excess of 30 mins. Better communication would have gone a long way. Went through the drive-up at appox. 1:45pm. There were only a few cars in line. As it turned out, once I paid for my food, they guided me to parking #6 to wait for my food. As one car left, another was asked to wait.... by the time I received my food, I had been there for 35 minutes! 35 minutes! I hate to think how long it would have been if I had gotten there at noon? Lousy service! I will add, don't bother to call and ask for one of the owners ( the Bolds) to call you. I left 2 messages asking for one of the owners to return my call (a few months ago) i never heard back from either of them! The only person I have encountered at the Bethalto McDonalds who is consistent with providing quality good service is Penny! Absolutely the worst mcdonalds ever made!!! DO NOT GO HERE!! I REPRAT DO NOT FOR ANY SINGLE REASON GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!! This is by far the worst one ever made. I just spent 45 min in line for 2 hot and spicy mCchickens, a large fry and sweet tea with sweet and sour sauce and after freaking 45 min ,I finally get my food and I ask if my sweet and sour sauce is in the bad before driving off and the guy says look in the bag and walks off!! Talk about rude from the get go. I drive home only to find I only have 1 of the 2 Mc chickens I ordered and a small cold as ice fry compared to the large I ordered and no sweet and sour sauce when I paid for 2. They didn't even start cooling my chicken till I got to the pick up window they said. This mcdonalds is ran by a bunch of snotty teenagers that give you attitude because they don't have any common sense on how to treat customers. Don't waste your time or money with this store. I apologize to the miserable drive thru worker with a mouth full of cotton. I apparently offended her, because she was throwing shade at me just for ordering food at the drive thru where she worked. To the managers here, I'm sorry your workers hate their life, but you should really try to figure out how to not make it my problem.
