This place is worth the trip from wherever u are. My husband & I live in NJ & visit our grandson in NOVA regularly. Just found Mari & it will be our go to sushi restaurant whenever we visit: quality fish, fresh wasabi, homemade tamago & friendly, attentive service.

There is something fishy about this restaurant (no pun intended), and in particular, a manager named David Kim.
I called 3 times within 4 weeks with an intention to make a reservation for a group of 11 people. Each and every time, David Kim the manager answered and told me he would call back in the next couple of days. Each and every time, he never did. Then when I followed up by calling the restaurant, David's excuses were always that he tried to call me back many time, but just got to the voicemail directly. When I pressed him by asking if he left a voice mail, and he always says no. Even when I attempted to give him my email address, he would appear to have trouble with understanding what "at mark" or "dot org" mean, which became his excuse for not communicating by email.

Dined here for the first time last night, and was impressed with how delicious everything was! I'm in LOVE with their Miso soup, and Salmon Skill Roll--the best I've had. Thank you so much to the staff and Charlie. Can't wait to revisit!

Great sushi at really good prices. The service is wonderful, everyone has been very friendly and helpful. This place is really close to my house, so I've been here several times and have had a great experience each time. I've mostly dined in, but I have also ordered take out once.
