Let me first start by sayin I didn't know this place was in Homewood and it didn't disappoint. It was a nice vibe and the food was really good, didn't really care for the drink meun but they also offered vegan meun as well. Vegan muffins were amazing and the bbq shrimp, omg the sauce was everything and the catfish! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My new favorite restaurant! I cannot wait to take my friends and family when they come visit! We arrived just a half hour after they opened on Sunday afternoon, and the place was already jam packed! This is a GOOD sign 🙂 Me and my husband were promptly seated and provided with water. The menu has a wide selection and we started with seafood gumbo and cornbread appetizers. Both were sooooo good and filling! The cornbread was the best I ever had and the gumbo had fresh properly prepared seafood. I probably could have stopped eating after that but was looking forward to the entree! I got the fried catfish w a side a mac n cheese, and my husband got the ribeye. The ribeye melted in your mouth! It was so good. My fish was properly seasoned, the Cajun rice was amazing and the mac n cheese was so cheesy and decadent. We topped everything off with the house made hot sauce, which was so good we purchased a bottle! Oh, the DRINKS! We had a total of 4 drinks bc they were so good and had the right amount of alcohol! The seasonal special drink was delicious. We were enjoying ourselves so much, we ordered dessert (something we rarely do). We got the peach cobbler and sweet potato cheesecake. It was a memorable experience and we had a great time chatting with neighboring tables and the managers who stopped by to see if we were enjoying our experience. The prices were absolutely reasonable. I’m already planning our next visit, lol. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I forgot to take a pic of the ribeye, my bad! But I attached pretty much every other picture! Pretty good, another pick by my daughter. The beet salad was awesome.. the atmosphere was amazing not to mention they had valet service can you believe that?? Ha!!! Great food, atmosphere and delicious generous drinks! Will order this particular dish again and again - Blackened Redfish Etouffee (fresh Gulf redfish served blackened, set over white rice and topped with our famous Crawfish Étouffée; served with braised collard greens) and the Gulf Fish Pontchatrain (gulf fish served pan seared, topped with lump crabmeat and mushrooms; paired with a brie cream sauce and corn maque choux) and the drink was a CREOLE VOODOO ZOMBIE was insanely delicious!! Great food, my group made reservations and it still took them about 30 minutes to seat us after that and the table was available the entire time. Not sure what the wait was for. I had the jambalaya and we shared cornbread. But let me tell you; you have to try the fried green tomatoes!!! Chefs kiss!! I will be back!!
