so glad we decided to try this little spot that caught our eye. the woman working the counter, wish i would’ve gotten her name, was very kind 🩷 the lemonade was the perfect for me because it wasn’t overly sweet. and the coffee was super good! So glad we stopped in! Everyone was so nice and created such a warm and wholesome atmosphere. The breakfast croissants were made fresh and were delicious. The coffee was also very good. The white mocha lavender was a perfect combination of flavor and sweetness. Absolutely recommend stopping in if you are passing through! It’s a little tricky to find the place but it’s worth it! Was visiting my Abuela for a week and this was an excellent place to start the day with some coffee (recommend the cinnamon brown sugar latte) and remote work from. I live in Chicago and wish I had a place like this near me, super friendly staff and all around great place! I just ordered a pickup from M&J's and I never write reviews but jeeez!! This is so good! It's very hard to find a good quick breakfast and coffee place around here but M&J's has now become my go-to after ONE visit! The staff was extremely nice and the inside was cozy and cute... might go study there one day! The breakfast sandwich was delicious and I got all the pastries but the muffin and they were just as good as the sandwich. I normally don't like flavored lattes that much but I got a simple vanilla latte and it was exactly what I needed. This shop was charming. I stopped by here on my way up north of Texas and just happened to stumble upon this family-owned coffee shop. I ordered my iced coffee (which had a strong flavor), and I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich that was filling. I recommend this shop if you pass by this part of town. Nestled below street level and hidden away, if it wasn't for Google we would not have found this gem of a spot. This place is definitely worth the quest to find the treasure within. The golden hued iced coffee is exceptional and the food delicious and perfectly prepared. Do not leave without trying an apple scone. Service was top-notch. Super recommended!!!! The food is awesome and tastes great(everything)! The coffee is wonderful..I love tres leches and lavender either cold or hot.
