The decor is very nice- I have to say we were a little disappointed. We walked in and wow what a cool beautiful spot! Ordered a milkshake and a eggcream and thats when we realized something was off. Everything we ate was ok but could have been better. The milkshake was lacking icecream the eggcream syrup. Everthing i believe is grilled so when i ordered smothered pork chops i had pictured in my head two well seasoned fried chops with pan gravy over some hardy mash potatoes. Nope i got two paper thin non season grilled chops with yesterdays gravy and maybe box/real mashed potatoes. My daughters grilled chicken was just ok too no love. The soup and onion rings were great. We loved the food here! The portions are large and everyone was satisfied with their meal. I got the mac and cheese and the tomato bleu cheese soup and thought both were excellent. I also tried the bread pudding and thought it was very good. The service was also wonderful. Phenomenal comfort food. Great service. Super ambiance. We can for an early dinner on Saturday at 4:30. We will definitely be back. We had the tomato blue cheese soup & a cup of chili. Then we had the 3 cheese Mac n cheese & the meatloaf dinner with mashed & green beans. American comfort food at its finest. Sooooo yummy!!! What a delightful place for lunch or dinner! My husband and I started with potato skins and corn chowder soup. and it was delicious! My husband had the skirt steak with fries...which he loved...I had the chicken breast platter with mashed potatoes and broccoli. We also ordered the macaroni and cheese..everything was cooked to perfection. Our very attentive waiter...Luis was very knowledgeable about the food items on the menu and even suggested other food items as well. We had dessert (bread pudding) which was amazing!
