One of the best pizza's in the Twin Cities. We had the coal fired pizza. The crust is perfect. Crispy on the outside. Chewy on the inside. The ingredients are top shelf too. They have "duroc" bacon. The owner is very nice and very knowledgeable about pizza. Great place and a must visit for pizza in the Twin Cities.

Ordered a meatball sub. It was burned so badly that I couldn't even break it in half. When I first picked it up out of the bag I thought they had packed it with cardboard, but nope! Absolutely burned black and completely inedible. Anyone who would send out food in this condition does not deserve your business.

Update #2 We got our refund, one of the worst experiences we have had.
*update* We never got the refund. In fact the
owner continued to insinuate that we were lying by having us send him screenshots of our credit card and bank statement.
I have never been treated so poorly by a business and will never recommend this place. I have a number of text messages from him trying to "trick us" into siding with him in regards to the business sending the refund to the wrong credit card.
The amount of time we spent on this is ridiculous. Specially over 25 dollars. There are many other decent pizza places to give your hard earned money too, this is not one of them.
We ordered a takeout order consisting of one large pepperoni, two cheese , GFY, putting on the Ritz, 4 cookies and a Caesar.
We never got the Ritz, the cookies were raw, like hardly cooked, the salad had some type of terrible vinaigrette, which makes zero sense for a Caesar.
The pizza sauce was great, the toppings were good and the crust was decent but pretty thick for a wood fired pizza.
Was not happy that we didn't get the one pizza due to us living in Minneapolis. I called and spoke with a very professional woman, who didn't question me at all which I appreciated. I provided my order number and she said I would be getting a refund .
I believe this place has decent pizza, but we won't be back. First impression wasn't good and there are plenty of other establishments that will pay extra attention to a an order that totaled 138 dollars.
If Google had a 2.5 star , I would rate it that.
*Update* I was contacted by the owner and had a constructive conversation regarding our experience at Love Pizza. He was apologetic and I applaud him for understanding my displeasure with our experience.
I want to be clear that we liked the pizza and if we are in the area will try it again.
