I phoned up last minute on Christmas Eve, the staff took our booking without any hassle. Went to the restaurant with some foreign friends who were celebrating their wedding anniversary. We loved the food, we can only say it was excellent, all the staff are very professional at their good too. The wines were great. Fantastic night thanks to you guys. A friend forgot her handbag behind and the staff phoned up straight away to return it. This restaurant is not only 5 star but a lot more. Today me and my partner visited for the first time and I can definitely say we will be back many times more. We have been to numerous first class restaurants over the last 40 years and Lovage joins the list of our favourites. We both had the Champagne battered prawns as a starter. They were delicious, delicate and very tasty. For mains we both had the Angus fillet. Cooked to perfection, with roast potatoes etc. It was a long time since we had a succulent fillet. For desert we had the cannoli and coffees. I had to say that with what we had we were impressed as well by the bill which was just right for what we had. The service was of the highest standard too. Thank you Lovage for giving us an impressive meal with the best service and see you soon. Nous avons passé une très belle soirée à deux dans ce petit restaurant ! Un service impeccable, un menu qui donne envie de tout essayer, des saveurs qui ravissent les papilles !
