The salsa is delicious. The food is really good. There is great flavor. I recommend it over others in the neighborhood.

One guy seating people, cooking and serving. Looked like he had not showered in days. Can of bed bug spray on the half wall. Ordered a margarita and the flavoring would not separate and was like a blob of goo when I tried to drink it through a straw. Nice place, pretty decor, there is only one person in the building working so if you’re an impatient person don’t come here but he did a great job and food was good! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food here is fantastic. I don’t know why anyone would waste their time eating the garbage at Agave when this place is right down the street. This place is better and more authentic than Mexican places I’ve been to in the South. Everything we ordered was fantastic and the prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be coming back. We’ll do our part to spread the word about this hidden gem. The owner is a crotchety elderly man doing everything EVERYTHING by himself. I feel bad for him because it’s very hard to find good help in this town of very aimless youngsters who don’t want to work. Other places may have more employees and faster service but I would rather wait a little longer and enjoy a great meal. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

Our family of 4 all loved what we ordered. Salsa is a little spicy, but good. Like other reviews say, there’s just one guy doing it all. There was only one couple there when we arrived, so the wait wasn’t bad at all. He’s definitely very quiet and just does his job. But stayed on top of water refills and like I mentioned, the food was great! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

I LOVED the authentic Mexican food here!! I ordered the flautas and the plate presentation was good and the food as well. The service was awesome! The owner was so nice to us. Hard work shows in a family owned restaurant and this place definitely displays that! Would recommend and return!

4 adults ate here today... our first visit. ( we usually eat at the Mexican restaurant across the street). We read the most recent reviews and knew service would be slow—- we were in no hurry! All 4 of us loved our food and will most definitely go there again, when we return next summer. Very clean, great choices on the menu! Yes, 1 person working as waiter, cook and bus boy (I assume the owner) ; very nice!. When asked, he told us times are difficult due to Covid. 😥 He had been here for 14 years. Restaurant is one of very few open on Sunday in the Valley!

We stumbled across the place when checking out the elk antler arch. The food was great. They have wonderful thick salsa. Our whole family enjoyed it.
