Ordered a chopped steak with gravy medium well and it was raw. Sister ordered steak and lobster well done and it was rare. After they record her steak they didn't bring the lobster back. Called ahead for eight people and they tried to seat us at 2 tables in different areas and it was for a birthday dinner. Tonight was the second time in a month we were served raw food when ordered well done. We have came to this restaurant a couple times a month for many years so I’m not sure what’s going wrong. On Thursday, February 8th, we came in for lunch. I ordered a steak well done with asparagus. When the food came out, the asparagus was so dry and stale they almost appeared at least a day old. When I cut into my steak I ordered well done, it appeared to be rare and bloody. When I politely asked for my meal remade, they threw the same piece I cut in half back on and burnt it. I couldn’t cut through it and asparagus was again not edible. This was not apologized for or taken off the bill. Tonight, February 16th, we went for an early dinner. My husband ordered a burger well done and after his first bites he immediately got sick. The meat was raw. As the waiter was great, and took it off of our bill, my husband is very sick from this. We unfortunately are having to test for food poisoning and from this happening twice to us are probably going to have to contact the health department. This breaks our hearts since this had been our favorite spot for years. Management needs to really evaluate the way food is being prepared for its customers safety and health. Always great but I recently realized this..don't order a 20oz beer. It is only 12 ounces. I ordered 2 20 oz beers while there. My wife ordered a bottle of beer. She didn't want it so I poured it into my empty glass. It filled it up! I asked the waitress why the menu said 20 oz and you're charging me for 20 oz but only giving me 12 oz? she said, "yeah, we know about it but it is what it is". I didn't ask for a manager but clearly a way for a restaurant that is always packed to make a couple extra dollar's..love the place but prob won't be going back due to trust. Is my 16 0z NY strip really 10 oz?? Food and service is always top notch. But secretly being lied to is a deal breaker. Throw out your fake 20 oz glasses and provide customers what you actually advertise. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
