Went here with my new teammates from work. We checked in early, so the wait wasn't terrible. The food was great, and our server was terrific. The only thing that I didn't like was how low the lighting was in the dining area. Truthfully, the table lighting wasn't terrible, but it could have been a bit better lighting in other areas. Not impressed with the Baby Back Ribs. I got the full rack of baby back ribs. I probably won't get them at Long Horn again. They were prepared good, but they were not near as lean as baby back ribs I've gotten at other national chain steak houses. Alot of fat. French fries were great. There were 6 of us at the table, and two of us had to wait over an hour for their food, then when it came, both orders were not even hot. They asked for the manager who apologized and said they were short staffed, and they said the food should have been hot after waiting so long. She did give us a discount at least. I only have pictures of 2 of our meals because it didn't take as long for what we ordered and we were finished eating long before the others got theirs. Went to lunch with my boyfriend. Food was great. We both had the Flo filet. We add crusted parmesan. Also as the appetizer we had their stuffed mushrooms ,which were devine! But the best thing was our waitress astinence. I hope I spelled that right. She had great recommendation,knew the menu, was beyond pleasant, and our cups never went empty. Have been eating at Longhorn for many years but this was first time at Owensboro location. We were not disappointed. Same great service and excellent food as other locations. Wild West Shrimp is always a favorite. Steak was cooked perfectly. What a great experience! If you leave hungry? That's your fault because the serving sizes are huge. Our wait staff, Ms. Morgan, was exceptional and our food was out super fast too. She checked back often to see if we needed anything and if our food was prepared the way we liked it. This was a very nice and unexpected treat of a meal as I'd never been here before, but I can tell you this for sure, I'll DEFINITELY be back again.
