We took a friend out for his birthday and we each had a different steak. I had the large sirloin medium. Birthday boy had the porterhouse well done. Others had medium and medium well steaks. Every one was tender and cooked to perfection according to order! Even the week done steak was so tender it was coming apart when he started cutting it. The food was great as always, and our server Ashley did amazing. Even though they were very busy today, we felt really special and even had a manager come check out at our table and wished us happy valentines. We came here for my birthday because I wanted steak. We arrived and were seated within 10 minutes. We waited quite a while before our server took our drink order. She did mention I'll be there in a moment within a few minutes. When the server arrived, we ordered drinks and food. We waited maybe 5 minutes and our drinks arrived with bread and my salad. The kids devoured the bread. The butter was probably right out of the fridge and hard to spread on the bread ( typical of most restaurants ) I thought the ceaser salad was OK, but would have liked more dressing than what it had but never saw the server to ask. Our food arrived and I'll say my food was good. Steak cooked perfectly. My baked potato was delicious. The kids Mac and cheese was like kraft macaroni and a bit disappointing. Fries were good. We never received a refill. Asked for dessert. Dessert was good. There was hardly room for dessert on the table as the server never pre bussed anything. All the empty plates remained. The bread board, my salad plate, the appetizer plates ( we didn't need ) Server had many opportunities to remove dishes such as when she took our dessert order. We received our check and asked for to-go drinks because they never got refilled. Server was friendly and apologized for not giving us great service, she maybe had a over size section or possibly new. She was friendly just busy... We went here for my wife's birthday. The food tasted great. Our waitress is very friendly. We got our food in a really timely manner. I think I ate too much. All in all I'd say it was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely go back. Food is pretty much always on point. On the rare occasion your steak or whatever isn't cooked right they will gladly fix it. The only thing I would change if I were them is to have the butter that they give you for the bread at room temperature so that it can be easily spread. Butter is not required to be refrigerated. Great steak!!! I go here often and have a good steak every time and cooked correctly. The staff is always on it and quick to get your order and keep you happy. If you go during the busy time of the evening, 530ish, you can get online to put your name in on the waitlist instead of walking up and putting your name in. And if you're willing to wait, the bar is always open to have a drink until your table is ready. I do hate that the crispy asparagus is gone, but they do have a lot to choose from on the menu. Usually go to the location in Lee's Summit but went here since we were in the area. Looks exactly like every other Longhorn- pretty cozy, low lighting, western aesthetic. It wasn't very busy so it was pretty quiet but it can get a bit loud when it's full. Our waitress was awesome; super attentive, friendly, and helpful. All the food came out great. Both the filet and ribeye were cooked just how we asked (medium rare, not over done at all) and were very tender. Sides were great, especially the bacon macaroni. We got the mushrooms for an appetizer and they were really good- my sibling even spread the extra cheese over some of the bread provided. My mango margarita was good too, not too strong like some places. It was a pretty good dinner with the family! The server was very good. She was friendly and quick to help the good. Steaks have a really good season name to them and the shrimp was plump and juicy.
