My wife and I enjoy the fish at this location, but since they closed the dining room, it's no longer an option for us. We're not going to eat in our car and if we take it home, it will be cold. I ordered a 8piece chicken and fish family meal and I bite into a piece of chicken and it was nasty hard and greasy. I couldn't even bite through it. And I paid $43. Totally not good at all. Love the chicken planks. Wish there more stores around. Like near Brookfield, MO . I would go back to work for LJS if you open near here. Love your chicken planks, and you have kept the quality of the chicken almost the same. And your fish filets are the only ones I will even eat. It was ok. The prices seem fairly expensive. And the food was heavier and had more grease than I remember. But you still can't beat Long John Silvers fish and chicken. It probably been 10 years since I've eat at LJS and will likely be another 10 years now. The staff was friendly, the food was good but pricey. The facility was fairly run down. Stopped by here when I saw it was a Long John Silver's as they're so difficult to find these days. The employee who took my order was fairly nice and cordial. There was one car ahead of me and the service was pretty fast. There were no frills and I wasn't thanked for my business. The guy took my money and tossed the food out of the window barely even looking at me in the process. The food itself was decent. The order was accurate and I got what I'd requested at the beginning of the transaction. However, they were quite stingy with the condiments I asked for. The building looked a bit rough on the outside. It was pretty run down and they're definitely in need of some updates. Overall, I got what I ordered, mind you what I got for the price wasn't a good value for the money. This isn't the Long John Silver experience I remembered from years ago. Was drive thru only so I almost messed up and skipped this Long Johns. Boy am I glad I didn't. The guy at the drive thru was simply AMAZING! I'm still not convinced he wasn't working alone. But he was pleasant, happy to be there, courteous, punctual with the food, AND IT WAS FRESH! I am simply amazed by that service. Would give 100 stars if I could. I live 30 minutes away in Parkville Missouri and once I know homies schedule, I'll be making that drive again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

No warm fuzzies. Watching her face when she came out from the back to see the line increasing behind us for dine in left me tempted to leave. I was disappointed in the tone that the Hispanic family was given behind me. Food was what I expected and could count on. It was the first time in a long time I was in a Long John's where the floor didn't feel greasy under my feet. I just overall feel people can be treated better no matter where we choose to get our food, from Long John's to Red Lobster. LJS has a nostalgic feel with classic fried fish options, A&W root beer, burgers and cheese fries. Some of my items were not very hot, but flavor is great. What set my visit apart was the excellent customer service from cashier James F. Great smile and attitude. Kind, friendly and helpful. This took a casual fast food experience to a new level.
