This is by far the best sea food restaurant I’ve found in the Boston area. The New England Clam Chowder is perfection and so delicious. The lobster mac and cheese was also superb, with extra points for its presentation, which was very unexpected. The service was also exceptional and the restaurant is in a prime location in Burlington with ample parking. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

One of the only consistent places that you will get good food at somewhat reasonable prices. No matter to which Legal SF you go to the food will taste the same and they have good options. My go to dish is fish and chip. This time all in the party except one ordered fish and chip. They also have gluten free fish and chip but almost mixed orders (very dangerous when you have GF people in your party and 3 people order the same dish). My first time back in Burlington after 5 or 6 years, I was looking forward to visiting Legal Sea Foods, which was always a staple of my frequent trips to the area. Sadly, in the time I've been away, it feels like it's shifted down market a fair bit. The food was still fairly good but the edge of quality and the classier ambience of the old times. The staff were very good and attentive and it's still a good option, but the inflationary prices of recent years have definitely taken their toll and a lobster now feels like too much of an indulgence whereas it used to be a more affordable treat. The server actually didn't even give us the rundown on the available lobster options, which suggests they're not the regular order they used to be. All in all it's still a good place to eat, but I don't think it'll be the highlight of every trip as it used to be. It's not in Red Lobster territory yet, but it feels like it could be on that trajectory. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
Used to really enjoy Legals. The food was always good. It has gone downhill. The newly renovated restaurant has lost the cozy vibe. The music was loud and the lights were bright. It felt more like a cafeteria. I could overlook if the food was good but it was disappointing. Had the clams and linguine. I had the same dish as described on this menu at a legal test kitchen. It was the best I ever had so was excited to have it again. It was not the same. It was terrible and had a bad fish taste as though the clams were not fresh. As soon as it was placed in front of me I could tell the smell was off. The staff took it back and did offer a replacement. Could not even pick anything else as it just ruined my appetite. Even the appetizer was not even close to the version from the test kitchen. As for the service when we had the server it was fine. I have had far better more attentive in the past. Different vibe all around. I do not think I will return to this location. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Good, not great. Went here with some coworkers. When in the Boston area, you have to get some clean chowder. The clam chowder was pretty good. The baked haddock was pretty good, but didn't cure my seafood craving. Service was ok. The prices seemed a little high, but everywhere did these days. Great service and decent food. The portions are definitely smaller than they used to be. No more fried clams in their fisherman’s platter. Good clam linguini and good mussels a nice little spot. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
