Wow. Im a critic & I gotta say this place is absolutely delicious. Had the Bistec Ala Mexicana & its better the any place ive been to in Chicago so far. Wife had the Caldo De Res its better then her Moms 5 stars. Try it out Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very small place….I had the Carne Asada dinner. The steak was seasoned well and cooked good, it was tasty The rice was Long grain rice and mushy the beans were excellent. No avocado 🥑 No Jalepeno peppers No sauté onions added to the dinner🌶️ as other local Mexican restaurants offer. For $27 I thought 💭 I should have had more of an experience and more on my plate. My wife had the Gorditas and she said they were good but agreed with me about the rice and not getting the extras offered by others. My Rating 6.9 out of 10. I like their food, but they have bad customer service. Almost every time that I call to place an order, they put me on hold and never answer the phone again. When I do call them back I let them know that I was on hold for a while and no one answered the phone. Their excuse is that they are really busy, well if you guys are so busy then you need to hire more ppl. No worries, I will just take my money elsewhere. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Service: 1

Great experience overall! The atmosphere is inviting, and those murals on the walls add a nice touch. The chips with two salsa options were a hit.
