Probably the best place for Indian/Nepali cuisine in vermont. I've tried a lot of Indian restaurants in many cities and this is really your safe bet in Burlington.
The food is good (tried the lamb korma, butter chicken, chicken momo dumplings and the Naan bread) all of it was generous, served with basmati rice and made my stomach full. All of my friends had a great time and were satisfied. In fact, I converted a friend who never liked Indian food before and yet rated this a 9/10 and the best Indian food he ever had.
Service is excellent, the owner called me "boss" many times which I like and find respectful.
I'll go back to that very convenient spot on church street when I want Indian food.
Btw don't be afraid of the spices, it's very mild even at "medium".

Came in around 1pm on a weekend and it was moderately busy, the prices are incredibly reasonable. We ordered one curry & one Chana masala. We asked for “American hot” which was reasonably spicy and incredibly tasty. The server was really kind and attentive. Can’t wait to go back.

My husband and I decided to go and eat at this establishment. Which landed him in the hospital a few hours later with food poisoning. Mind you this would be the first meal he had eaten that day. We went to the emergency room because he was EXTREMELY dehydrated from relieving himself for multiple hours. Now we have to wait for some tests to be done because there might be an issue with his liver because of the quality of food or what it was in.
