Wonderful experience. Great for a date night, special occasion or just an indulgent night out. Food and service were top notch. With prices at mid range restaurants creeping up, you might as well go out less often and pay a little more for this kind of experience. This place has great food! As a first experience, I'm impressed! Since we went during the holiday season, maybe by coincidence since there was a holiday party happening, there was a musician playing Christmas music on the piano. The waiter we had was so attentive and friendly! The food was 5/5 and if you can tell by the pictures, it was as good as it looks. An elegant and inviting dining experience perfect for large family gatherings. This was our second time at Lakehouse and it didn’t disappoint us. Food fresh, tasty and plated well. Beautiful restaurant and great setting. We had a birthday dinner with 15 people, we sat in their private room. The staff was attentive, accommodating and very friendly. The food was good and well cooked with lots of flavor. The outdoor setting is lovely, especially for drinks before or after dinner. The views are so relaxing and beautiful. Food very expensive, good but nothing original or wow factor. Have eaten 2xs dinner, very very noisy, wide open and echoes. Outside on deck beautiful, who doesn't like water and sun. I went during restaurant week and Everything was great until we received the bill. It should have been $46 pp for appetizer, entree and dessert. Instead they charged extra for a fillet mignon entree and tuna appetizer without letting us know on the menu. The waiter should also let the customer know. Disappointed about these extra fees, they should announce them whether written or verbally.

Great location for on the water dinning. Visited on a Saturday for outdoor brunch. Table for two are closer to the water. Depending on the day/time,you will get a lot of sun. Table for 3+ are more in the shade. The indoor Dinning room is nice,classy and clean. The reason for 4 stars is the parking and menu. Public parking is always crowed and no where to park. Valet parking staff was nice but super busy,only one person working at the time. Took a while to have them ticket it us to park. Not many food options for the non sea food eater. Prices are average for atmosphere and location. Pitcher of mimosas(3 1/2 glasses) 2 entrees about $70+ before tip. I was trying to find a nice seaside restaurant on Long Island and found Lakehouse on Google. The restaurant could use a little refurbishing but the food was excellent! The pork chops was cooked to perfection and it was such a complex dish that was executed to perfection! Highly recommended! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
