We have been to La Distileria a few times now and have enjoyed every time! The food is fantastic. We love the empanadas and the quesabirria. The enchiladas are also excellent. The house margaritas are really good. The bartenders are all wonderful! We highly recommend this place and are so happy they moved into the neighborhood! La Distileria has the best Mexican food I have ever had at a restaurant. It was authentic, as if my family from Mexico had made it in their home. The birria was legit and delicious. I honestly cannot believe how good everything was. The margaritas are also delicious. I have celiac’s disease and have to be very careful not to eat gluten, including through cross contamination. The waitstaff was knowledgeable of wait contained gluten (very few things on the menu). Food and service were very good. I gave it two stars because of the convenience fee charged and the fact that this is the first restaurant I have encountered that charges more for credit card use. Won't be returning unless that changes. I won't use debit cards because they don't carry the same protection as credit cards.
