My friend took me to this little place. The inside is beautiful with vintage looking decor. All the staff were super friendly and greeted us. They checked on us constantly. The Cadillac Margaritas made with 1800 were very tasty! The food was excellent too. This is our new go-to Mexican restaurant in Bakersfield. 3rd visit and always a pleasure. The Ice House venue is hard to beat. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A place I used to frequent… I can say I’m feeling upset because they told us we can’t order drinks unless we went to the bar but served everyone else’s table drinks. Not sure what’s that’s about. The food is mostly good. The bartenders were super nice but for some reason our waitress treated us different. She was polite but told us we had to go to bar to get a drink but served every one else. Not even an explanation. I usually don’t complain but it all rubbed me the wrong way. And then super attentive to her other tables but came ours to take our orders and get the check.
