This location has been open for one year now and I have been enjoying it many times but the variety of food that they have from southern food to Cajun style fries loaded fries Mexican food and just overall awesome hot sauces and condiments to go with your food everything is always fresh and made to order .the quality of food is great; the amount of food that you get it’s just as good. I just spoke to my friend Mariano, who has such a great demeanor cooked up some grilled and fried pork chops today and they were outstanding and sourced up to perfection. This is certainly a hidden gem in Texas City Texas a must stop if you were truly hungry. the tortas sold out this morning that is how good they are I had to settle for a hamburger bun but the top round beef that is used is so tender you don’t even need teeth to eat it with thank you again my friend for the great food keep up the great work and I wish you many more years of service to the community you have certainly put some weight on me over the last year lol
I was pleasently surprised by La Bestia Taqueria & Bar-B-Que. Located Right off of Palmer, inside Buzzy Bee convenience store, La Bestia really hit me like a beast with some of the tastiest food I've had in quite awhile. I was not expecting how amazing the brisket would be! I had the Barbecue baked potatoe with all the typical fixings but oh boy was it a treat. Brisket was bursting with flavor, juicy and went extremely well with the cilantro, cheese, and other ingredients. I hadn't eaten all day so I still had room for more so I had the fajita tacos and these bad boys hit the spot. I ordered corn with typical cilantro and cebolla Mexican truck style and they were a home-run. I like really spicy so I suggest getting the green salsa and ask to heat up the Chile if you wanna boost the heat! The staff were friendly and attentive asking if
needed more salsa or sour cream which was very nice. Affordable, Top tier flavor, and great people, truly La Bestia Taqueria & Bar-B-Que was a cut above. Try it next time your in Texas city, you won't regret it.
