I had my first taste of Krispy Kreme original, and it was incredibly delicious. The store staff were responsible and welcoming, making the overall experience of enjoying the food and interacting with the service staff fantastic. Thank you! I never had a Krispy Kreme donut before moving to Raleigh NC over 25 years ago. Bedford then I was a die hard Dunkin fan. Now I know how much better Krispy Kreme donuts are. IMHO, there is NOTHING better than getting an original glazed donut that just came off the conveyor belt and is still warm. Talk about melt in your mouth! Delicious! Now, one the day I visited this place, the parking lot was completely and totally filled, and the drive thru looked to have 8 to 10 cars waiting in line. I ended up parking nearby and walking over. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and pleasant. They were all working hard and you could tell that things were clean. The young lady who helped me suggested the hot chocolate and I am sure glad she did. It was one of the best I’ve had in a while. A amazing donut & coffee shop! I had a vanilla coffee ☕ latte which was very good. The donuts are tasty! A nice atmosphere and pleasant lady that helped me. The only thing, 🤗 I wish there was truck parking. Either way, I will be back when in the area. Thanks! My sister and I just had to take a moment to acknowledge an amazing employee named Leo at this Clark Summit location. He is the most kind, friendly and personable person we have ever encountered here. We travel often from Philadelphia to upstate New York and stop here. He literally recognizes my sisters voice when she speaks into the monitor and it could be months since we passed through and he also remembers her by name when we pull up to the window to pay. This is phenomenal if you ask me and if he doesn’t hear this often well we need to share! The sign was glowing bright red signaling a primal instinct to whip my car into the middle turning lane and judiciously maneuver into the parking lot. That's right I parked and went in to get a feel of 🍩 heaven, which I did, had to refocus and complete the mission of securing a dozen of the Classic Glazed Donut. Also got a large coffee ☕️ and wasn't impressed with it but no matter off i I went to get home as fast as I could to reheat 2 Glazed Donuts in the microwave, my only issue is that there's too much glaze on them, I bet they could use half of the glaze and not only would they be healthier but better in my opinion. Forgot to take pics. Had a $10 gift certificate from helping something, maybe a field trip, grade school kids were selling them last April. There is nothing like a hot Krispy Kream donut. Fresh off the line. Service staff was polite and helpful. They did not rush you into picking your donuts. The store was spotless.
