Rice undercooked. Sake bomb comes with a quarter beer and a sip of sake. Permanently out of tempura ice cream. Not worth giving it a chance anymore. Just go to Toshi’s:
Took my friend here for her birthday. To start off, the service was great! The host was nice, and the servers were very attentive to everything we needed. The food was AMAZING! There were so many delicious items on the menu it was hard to make a choice. I had a hot sizzling stone bowl with beef. It had beautifully crisp veggies, the meat was well marinated and tender, and it came with a bunch of sides. I also ordered a couple of sushi rolls. I got the sushi pizza and the popcorn lobster. The sushi pizza was SO GOOD! It had this crispy rice thing on the bottom which complimented the toppings nicely. The popcorn lobster was also really good. The little popcorn lobster bits on top were perfectly crunchy and crispy. At the end of our meal, the servers brought my friend a free ice cream with a candle for her birthday. It was decorated, and they sang to her! So glad we came here. It was such a great experience! The food was good. But we had poor service. We did the kbbq and the server stopped coming after he delivered the meat. There was also automatic 18% gratuity with no warning, it was not on menu. I tipped extra without realizing it, for subpar service. The meat platter are not worth it. Too expensive for small portion of meat. Ok so lets get real. The smell at the front door is bad. This has been an issue for years. The reason for the poor review is the 5% charge on takeout. I am okay with the charge if I would have read it on the menu or seen a sign, but I did not. Just felt like a gotcha when I checked the receipt at home. And yes this was after tipping for the takeout. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $100+ Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

Order bibimbap. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I ordered an organic tofu stew. From the picture beside the item on the menu it looked great. What I got was a watered down soup with silken tofu floating in it and a few old veggies. It smelled awful and tasted the same way. I have never returned an item in a restaurant but I couldn’t eat this at all. I was told no problem so I ordered sushi instead which tasted old and dried out. Then the manager/owner tried to make me pay for the tofu dish and argued that was how Koreans made the dish. I doubt that seriously. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1
