Nice look coffee shop. Great atmosphere to chill and relax. When the weather warms up they offer outside seating too adjacent to a park. Menu selection is varied- wraps, sandwiches, assorted pastries, chips, and so are the drinks. I had a grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwich... delicious. And took it down with a sweet potato mix drink-- it was great too.
A winner. Thank you.

Very cute place but that’s not all that makes a coffee shop. I’ve now had a few experiences here so this is an overall review from a couple of different times. I went there about a month ago and the coffee was good but the barista literally held his finger up and hushed me when I tried to order, after my boyfriend ordered, because he needed to ask him what kind of milk he wanted. I’m a bartender who deals with customers talking to me all the time while I’m doing something else, and I would never hush a customer like that. Especially when he only had one, unnecessary question to ask. Also, attached are two DoorDash photos of the same dish, the MVP. The first photo is the older one showing a normal amount of filling. The flavor was okay. The second photo is from today, showing almost no filling at all. The only reason I ordered it again was because they were out of the wrap I actually wanted and that’s all they had left. So not only did I not get what I actually ordered, what I received today was all tortilla. I just paid $18.10 (with tip-but that is still part of the cost for me) for what was basically just a tortilla and I’m still hungry :-(

stumbled upon this black owned coffeeshop to round out my coffee exploration day. Location has several seating options to choose from including a bar area. The walls are adorned with various artwork with some for sale. Like many, this location roasts their own coffee and have a few unique beverages like the MLK-Way, caramel, chocolate milk, and espresso. They try to use as many natural and organic products as they can and source milk directly from what I understood. Location also offers a limited food menu with the likes of soup, grilled cheese and wraps available. During my visit I had a traditional capp and it came out pretty well overall. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

I work near Kinship Cafe and I try to go once a week. I went there after my interview for this job and told myself I would go frequently if I got the job. I’m about to leave that job and wanted to express my gratitude. What a wonderful gem of a place with delicious food and drinks, lovely atmosphere, and kind staff. Delicious vegan options as well - my favorite is the MVP. Thank you all!

Love to support black businesses but this was a terrible experience. Matcha tasted only of honey and was extremely thick. Mlk way coffee was also EXTREMELY thick like I was drinking straight syrup. Turkey melt was also not good. Asked for cheddar and got a tiny piece of cheese I’m almost sure was 1/4 of a Kraft single. Spend around 26 bucks and now have to get coffee and food from another place. I don’t know if this was just a bad day for this cafe but very disappointed and won’t be coming back. The lady working was very very nice though.
