We went here to celebrate my birthday. We started in the bar with Happy Hour. We had some delicious Coconut Shrimp and Prime Rib Sliders. Service was excellent. We then went to have dinner in the dining room. It was early and we got a lovely view table right next to a window. Our dinner food was also excellent. My companion had the pork chop. It came with potatoes and several vegetables. I had the Fig Salad and a side of Mac and Cheese. My two faults with service was we were not served bread. I later saw it at other tables and I wondered if it was something that had to be requested but we were not given an option. The other thing that bothered me was the online reservation asked if you were coming for an occasion. I said it was my birthday but when there no one ever acknowledged that. January 2024: Celebrated a birthday dinner and got seated at a table with a view. It was dark so unfortunately we couldn't see the planes landing. But I would imagine the view is better during the day Started with the coconut shrimp and calamari appetizers. There were five shrimp per order. Taste was good. Unfortunately my shrimp tasted like it was not fried recently. Some feedback for management. For my entree, I had the black cod that had a maple glaze. Fish tasted fresh. I would get that dish again. Also tasted the prime rib. It was served after clearly been sitting out. It was overcooked, dry and the fat was starting to congeal. Would not order this again. Other people at the table enjoyed the Chilean sea bass and the burger. My niece ordered the filet mignon and it looked good. Great security. They have a security guard monitoring the parking lot. He was great. We arrived at the restaurant on a rainy night, which is rare in California. Our server, Anthony attended our table. It was a busy evening as the dining room waS packed. Anthony took our drink and appetizer orders. We started off with cocktails and oyster on a half shell. Delicious. We ordered our entrees and a bottle of wine with dinner. We also ordered a wedge salad to share. They were kind enough to split our entrees. We also enjoyed their creme brulee for dessert to end our lovely evening. Went for happy hour at 3. The main dining room doesn’t open till 5. We had mostly happy hour food and lobster Mac and cheese, salad and fish and chips. All were delicious.
