Well I loved it but I co reviewed this with my boyfriend he said the worst experience I had the Italian flag fettuccine the best for me and he had the clam chowder.
He said it was tasteless and just the garlic bread he asked for came late and the whole experience was just bad
So I don’t know what to say but for me it was good

We really wanted to love it, we were fans of Ketch Joannes for many years.
While the food was not horrible, it was not memorable. We got the basics, which in my opinion should be an easy slam dunk for a restaurant that seems to get such rave reviews.
Overall, the food needed better seasoning and better attention to detail.
We got
Clam Chowder - a little on the bland side and was warm at best, should have been hotter
White Pepper Fried Calamari - needed seasoning, sauces were great though!
Crispy Seafood Combo - prawns and fish were very oily, fish was moist (oily?) but needed seasoning, fries were less than crispy, but my biggest complaint is the Bay Scallops (really?! tiny little scallops) and it seemed like they were cooked in the same fry basket as the rest of the seafood, they were way over done
Maybe they are putting more effort into their specials and chef favorites. But to overlook the basics, in my opinion, shows a lack of care. These ‘simpler’ dishes should be a slam dunk…

First time at Ketch. Was in HMB for an extended weekend and had breakfast one day and lunch another. The Crab Benedict was delicious and well portioned. The fish of the day for fish tacos at lunch was salmon. Really fresh ingredients and great flavor. Will definitely come back for dinner when they start serving it soon.
The decor, seating and lighting presents a welcoming seaside ambiance. The location by the harbor cannot be beat. Wait staff were attentive and polite. Great experience overall.

I recently had lunch at Ketch and was captivated by the breathtaking harbor views. The Chicken Fried Chicken Cobb Salad was a delightful twist, combining crispy perfection with fresh salad ingredients. A must-visit for both food and craft cocktails.

We stopped by there after watching the king tide from safe distance and walking hills.
Rain started pouring. Waited about 15 minutes to get a table. We were ok to wait. They let us wait a table inside.
The place has cute decorations.
We ordered seafood stew, salmon tacos, ahi tuna salad, fish, and chips.
I wish my salad had little bit more, but the taste was great.
Service was good and friendly.
I would live to go back when nicer weather next time.

So happy this iconic restaurant in HMB reopened! Since Ketch has re-opened, I’ve been back at least 3 times in the last week. The new space is so cute and homely inside-the food is yummy too! I got the oysters, the clam chowder bowl, & fish & chips— which is hands down my favorite.
I’d highly recommend checking out this cute little restaurant!

The seafood is as fresh as it gets! Highly recommend the Clam Chowder bread bowl, fish tacos, oysters, and fish and chips!
Coming back here on the weekend for a Bloody Mary 😋.

Love this spot! The Benedict was amazing. My friends and I sat at the bar where we were served by Ben the bartender who made a killer margarita! This is a great addition to the Half Moon Bay area. I cannot wait to return.
