Very nice store customer service was excellent and for a resort type store( most people take food and other necessities with them while visiting the area the prices were fair .
Rascist? The store had a lot for a small town. I was able to get certain things i needed, but im giving this place a 2 star for terrible service. The chubby, white, middle aged, dark haired lady was rude! I hate to pull the race card, but she is also likely racist! I asked her if they had smaller sweat pants for adults and she directed me to the kids section and was very also short with me when answering my question. She acted like she was in a rush also. She had just opened the store and there weren't that many people so not sure what her problem was. When we went to pay for our stuff, her behavior changed. She acted all friendly because my white husband was checking out our stuff. She didn't realize we were together when we walked through the door until we both were standing in front of the register. My husband saw her facial expression from afar during our brief communication. In the car, after we had paid, he asked me if she was being inappropriate. Mind you, I didn't say anything to my husband about about the interaction i had with this woman until he brought it up in the car. He just saw the communication from a distance and through her facial expressions, he thought she was being rude but wanted to ask me first in case he misinterpreted it. I was trying to give this woman the benefit of the doubt but my husband confirmed and validated my initial thought about this rude, racist woman! I've been in small southern towns before and I used to get these sorts of things all the time unfortunately. I just didn't think it would happen in california and in shaver with so many tourists and different kinds of people!
