Beautiful and interesting decoration. But the place felt dirty in many places, and the hot chocolate had a funny taste, which is why I didn't end up drinking it.
The decorations are amazing. Service is not so great (they are trying, but not yet quite close to where they should be).
Food is between good and fair.
We had dumplings, brain (both pretty good), some kind of white fish (good, but a bit too salty), french fries (good), fried eggs (not really too bad, but terrible salty ).
Tea was good. Coffee was terrible. Desert was not bad, but neither was really fresh.
Would the restroom be a song I could have named it “Back in USSR”.
And the cherry on top of the pie, they even don’t take cards (even though they are obligated by the law).
I had visited the place about 5 years ago and remember it much more attractive. I do not know whether my standards have changed, or the place itself, but I’m unlikely to ever came back.
We came here for breakfast. Plates were a bit dirty. Eggs were overfried and cold, vegetables weren't fresh. Very medium food. Coffee was good and we liked design of this place. Recommend to visit only if you want to drink coffee. Also toothpicks aren't wrapped in plastic. I think it's not hygienic.
I just had supper there and enjoyed it thoroughly. They speak english which is becoming the number 1 best thing about touring around the Ukraine.. finding people willing and able to communicate with you. They have an English menu but i wish i could overhaul it for them. For example i ordered the chopped chicken thinking it was some cool Ukrainian dish but really it was "ground" chicken flattened and fried. The service was very fast from taking my order to serving it. The decor was very appealing to gaze upon.. lots of interesting things in the room.. even the table had a glass top with a museum of stuff on display underneath. My food tasted great and it was inexpensive.
