Was not impressed...at all. Drive thru got chicken taco and beef burrito. The drivethru guy acted like I told him his grandma was ugly when I asked if there was any sauce in the bag. Normally restaurants ask you if you want and what kind. Not here. Get back to room and the Styrofoam box is so full of rice and refried beans my taco and burrito are submerged in them. I couldn't pick up my burrito since it was stuck to the beans and ripping apart. Chicken taco was good but again covered in beans. Just really underwhelming and not a good drive-thru experience. Food is authentic and is amazing my sister came down from Colorado and we went and ate there and she now won't stop talking about how much she misses this restaurant. workers are amazing people with amazing customer service. food speaks for itself, the atmosphere compliments the authenticity of the food. shrimp and carnitas tacos were good and the rice was too. little pricey, though. get what you pay for! Stopped in passing through - definitely a gem in hiding. S/O had the carnitas, I had the wet burrito. Portions were PLENty, flavorful, and satisfying. Loved the “relish bar” with salsas, jalapeños, and pickled carrots(yes!). Other patrons’ orders looked delicious, as well. Don't judge a book by it's cover. They don't win any points for style. Your food will come on a paper plate and you get cheap plastic utensils to eat it with but the food was excellent. Had a combo with a burrito, enchallada and rice and it was amazing. Looking for a hole in the wall with great food this is the place.
