It is so easy to change your status to appear as temporarily closed on Google. Instead, it says you are open. Imagine our annoyance when a security guard told us that this establishment is closed for the season. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Passed it bc it was not clear how to get in. Called the restaurant twice, no answer. As my husband said, “if it’s that difficult to get in, we’ll go somewhere else”

Two things to be aware of before you plan to go to the jungle bar. Number one: if you want to be at the outside bar, which is where the live music takes place, keep in mind it's always in the shade in the afternoon and evening. It can get quite windy and cold back there even on warm days. Number two: the staff can get quite snippy when they are really, really busy. I can hardly blame them, but if you're not expecting it, it can hurt your feelings! Generally, they're very good natured and fun and love their jobs. Be kind to them and tip them well! I think the food is above average for a bar, and most of the musical acts are above average as well. You have a great view of the ocean and beach there. Extremely rude staff. Went once woman behind bar extremely rude. I ordered drinks and food. Again next day ordered two virgin drinks and food. Wanted to pay while waiting for food. Man behind bar said that his machine wasn’t letting him bypass PIN number. Either give him my pin or another card. I told him I wanted to use that card can he try another register, he said no it would screw up that register. Extremely rude staff on more then one occasion. staff was so beyond rude. got nasty looks and comments the entire time we were there even though we were nothing but nice. they only take one check if you go with more than one person and god forbid you ask to split the check. they did it anyways and afterwords acted like we were awful for asking when they could have just told us no. i used to love this place and i’ll never go back, not even worth your time.
