The staff is great. Wonderful employees. Was packed for lunch. The turkey is the best along with the barbecue sauces. My baked potato was cold, Mac and cheese was ok and beef brisket was a bit dry and fatty. Okra was good also. Maybe I ordered wrong. Love the atmosphere, service was stellar. I had chopped brisket, macaroni and cheese, and the apple coleslaw. My husband had turkey and brisket, the BBQ beans, and green beans. We ordered take out from here and the person who took my order over the phone was super friendly and helpful. The food was ready just when they said it would be and we REALLY enjoyed what we ordered. One of the better bbq places we have tried for sure.

I moved from the Midwest and struggled to find BBQ that I personally like. I managed a BBQ a long time ago so I am a bit picky when it comes to BBQ. This is one of the best BBQ places in Tampa Bay Area. We just ate there again recently and my daughter never had it and she agrees with me that it’s top notch. The sauce is tasty and more on the sweet side and the side items are outstanding too. My favorite are the ribs! Give it a shot and I’m sure you will love it as well. I'm visiting family and we went here for supper. The place was packed and for good reason! Excellent food, and even the good kind of cheese grits! My mom and I split the combination plate and we both ended up with leftovers for tomorrow! I highly recommend combining the two bbqs they have on the table too, the best of both worlds!
