We sat at the bar and what a great place to watch the action. The team of men working the grill and the magic fry machine were unbelievable! It was like watching a well oiled machine. My husband asked me, "how long you think it takes to get to that level?" "I don't know! But it was fun to watch. I should also mention the burgers and fries were perfect!!! We have frequently gone to JL beers for a few years now and the food, service and atmosphere has always been great. On our last outing we noticed that the food has changed. The burger was not as tasty as every time before and the fry serving was very small. Our guess is the meat and bun supplier has changed, but that is only a guess. Unfortunately we will be finding a new best spot for a burger. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I've been coming here for years, but based on my last trip (sat/8/26 at 12pm.) I'm very concerned the food has changed for the worse. I used to absolutely love the fresh made chips, but now they seem to be cut a bit thicker and are way overcooked to the point of almost being burnt. See the pic i posted with the greasy overcooked chips. They used to cook them to a light brown color and they weren't greasy. I sent these back and got another order which was not much better, and still way over seasoned. I really didn't enjoy them at all. So i won't be ordering my favorite menu item any more. Also had a pretzel appetizer and that was also way overcooked and very dry. Maybe they just have a new bad cook? Service was great though. Awesome wait staff! Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
