Don't go in there expecting friendly service. I went to the pickup window and was ignored while others coming in behind me we happily greeted. I ended sitting at a table to piss someone off enough to acknowledge my existence. Lady asks who the order is for and then dissapears. Comes back with menus and asks if I'll be watching the show. My wife ordered the food and I used her name at the desk, and they told me just a few minutes 3 times despite no actual order being placed under that name. So 45 minutes of sitting in that dump with the food under lamps for half of it. (The bag disappeared for a while). No apologies, no nothing. Just handed me the back and continued on their clueless ways. Food itself was mid at absolute best. Soggy fires brown lettuce sandwiches, and micro portions. I will never return. I have been wanting to try out the BBQ areas around and decided to give Jimmy Bears a shot. The first time, I ordered the Jimmychanga and the three blind mice. The Jimmychanga was AMAZING ! Was exactly what I had wanted that night and was super huge, definitely worth it. The next time, I ordered ribs that came with an order of rice and corn and a dinner roll. I was slightly upset with the ribs. They barely had any meat. The corn tasted as if it was old, and the rice was just not it. Unfortunately, I basically stayed hungry after that. As of now, I am at a 50 / 50. I still wouldn't turn it down and would like to try other items. This was just my experience thus far. Hope this helps. I have eaten some bad bbq in my life but this reminds me to pay attention to red flags. 1. Empty place at noon (lunch) 2. Food came out 2 minutes after ordering (Warm in the middle and cold on the outside which means it was just microwaved). Staff and waitresses were kind and sweet. Tried them for the first time since I’m new to the area..Ordered a $30 beef rib dinner but I’m highly disappointed.It’s so dry and taste bland.I don’t know if it’s fried ribs or BBQ.Food didn’t come with any utensils or sauce.I would have returned this if they weren’t closed. UPDATE:I took the food back the next day and it was remade.I appreciate the gesture as that’s a sign of a good customer relation.But overall,I didn’t really like the food.I may try something else next time.
