Immediately as I walked in I was greeted by an annoyed worker who was sitting and eating with a few more.. He got up and seated us.. After waiting forever, a girl got up and took our order.. Seemingly annoyed and offering no greetings at all, she was absolutely lacking of any kind of hospitality or kindness... She brought the food and that's it. The sushi wasn't what I expected as it was very mushy.. The fried rolls were mushy too.. I usually eat a lot of sushi, but not this time. They acted like they hated the fact that we came in.. I don’t usually leave reviews; I think this place is very good most of the time. This Sunday my fiancé and I got some sushi and orange chicken. We aren’t sure if both were contaminated or if it was just the sushi, but we both got food poisoning. For the past two days we have been vomiting and bedridden. We are still actively recovering. I have eaten at this establishment for years with no issues, but this night was apparently a rough night for them. Absolutely fabulous! In such a place as Leeds AL, I found a wonderful small, informal Asian restaurant. I looked over the menu and got the Shuman, rolls, and tataki tuna. All appetizers, all just wonderful. My server Vanessa took great care of me, and the atmosphere is casual enough that I could enjoy the quiet after a hard day as a crew-dog for a race team. Not sure where my previous review went, but I'll post it again. Should've taken the clue from the completely empty parking lot an hour before close, but I phoned in my order and wanted good food. Did not receive good food. The chicken was inedible. No seasoning of any kind on it. Rice was old and dry- it was white rice. My partners sushi was old, nasty, and inedible. It smelled fishy when he opened it - worse than buffet sushi sitting out all day. Cheesecake tempura was weirdly stretchy and hard, and also inedible. The older guy is rude as hell. Our waitress was super sweet, crab rangoons was soooo good and hot came out fairly quick and our sushi came out fast and on point, will be coming back ! Also their sweet tea was amazing which is surprising for me to say because I’m picky about teas.
