Our food was amazing. We had the stuffed pork chop and the stacked pork enchiladas. Both were out of this world good. Our server was very nice, but the service was slow ...some waiting. Our coffee was brought to out table cold. But quickly fixed once we told our server, new cups of fresh hot coffee brought to us. Granted, it was a Friday night on the river walk, and things get crazy ....so I can overlook the wait. I definitely want to go back and try more items. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

While visiting San Antonio, the Iron Cactus was recommend to me as a good place to eat. I was not disappointed. The food was wonderful. My server Edith recommended the shrimp enchiladas, and they were amazing. The price was reasonable, especially since it is located on the River Walk. The service was wonderful. Well worth the visit. We had an absolutely fantastic dinner experience! Let me tell you, the food was incredibly fresh and delicious. And guess what? Our server, Lorena, was an absolute gem. The highlight of the evening was when she skillfully prepared the most mouthwatering homemade guacamole right before our eyes. I can't even begin to describe how friendly and amazing everyone at the restaurant was. Absolutely phenomenally flavored food. Every dish had a crescendo of will matched herbs, spices, ingredients and flavors. Our server Sophia was incredible! I highly recommend visiting. We had a great time here. Z was our waiter and gave us amazing suggestions!! The food was incredible. I do have to say I preferred the Mexican rice over the cilantro lime rice. Z was very attentive to the tables he was serving and never let a drink get low. The atmosphere was very good too. This place is a great option if you don't like "chain restaurants."
