The food was good. Lots of flavor, good aesthetic, and a good variety. I think for the price I would have expected more authenticity. It was raining which makes it hard to serve at an outdoor restaurant. The waiters did the best they could. Even with the rain the atmosphere was romantic and dreaming if not more so. Food was delicious. But had an interesting experience. We sat outside around 9pm and there were so many rats. It was pretty uncomfortable and hard to dine. We asked to move away from them. They were so comfortable with them there it seemed like it was a normal thing. There wasn’t just 1 there was around 5 just running under the tables and on the couches where people dine. I've been to the Inn three times. Two out of the three visits were amazing. This most recent visit however, was highly off brand for the reputation that they have established for themselves as an immaculate fine dining experience in Topanga Canyon. Our waiter would disappear for long stretches of time. Our only hope of getting service was by grabbing the bus person anytime they would walk by, and asking them to get our waiter. I brought my two sisters there to have dinner together on the date of our other sister's death. I thought we'd have nothing to worry about, and could enjoy each other's company and conversation. Instead I was constantly preoccupied with the thought of where our waiter was and not completely present with my family. Had the waiter checked in with us regularly, we probably would have been out of there sooner and had spent more money, which is a win win for the customer and the business. We had a fantastic birthday dinner, and Saul, our server, was exceptionally kind and went the extra mile, despite it being close to closing time. This place is a hidden gem, and I'm eagerly looking forward to returning to its warm and inviting ambiance. inn of the seventh ray is probably one of the best romantic restaurants in California. there's nothing like the sound of running water along the creek. The restaurant is absolutely stunning. we celebrate my girlfriend's birthday here and she absolutely loved i. if you want to make her feel special, bring her here. the food is phenomenal, and the bread pudding is just out of this world. there's also a gift shop there if you're into Crystal's and things like that. i definitely recommend coming here for a special occasion. i paid like 165 for everything, not including 45 dollars tip Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
