This place was really good. It had been a really good minute since I last had some real good Peruvian food. This place definitely hit the spot. Their arroz chaufa was delicious, and so was their Lomo saltado. The man taking our order and behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. Give this place a try. You'll love it.

Place is small and when we went, on a late Sunday afternoon, only 1 person was working. The metal door was locked so we had to wait until the employee came and unlocked it. Again, this was probably she was alone and was in the back chicken.
We ordered the lomo saltado, salchipapas (for the kids) , and beef chowmein peruano. It took some time but not that much considering it was just the one employee.
Everything was good. The chowmein is not as strong as Chinese style but good nonetheless. The lomo was very good, flavorful and juicy. Definitely deserves a comeback.
The high ratings are for a reason, not many have reviewed the place but for sure listen to them, this place earns it's high star rating.
Update: went back 2/25/24 and the name changed. The owner sold the business. It is still Peruvian but I wasn't sure I was going to like it. It is called Ceviche6nine. I was glad the food was great, probably a bit better than the previous owner. The quality last time couple of times we went with the previous owner was going down. She didn't cook it anymore. However, the food this time was great and the prices are way more reasonable than other peruvian locations.

Ordered from Uber eats on a whim bc of a great BOGO deal and we even got two soups! Absolutely DELICIOUS, perfect for the windy day, the food was perfectly hot when it got to our door which is so hard to do from a delivery service. I’m so glad I have extra bc I can’t stop eating the fried rice. So happy to have a new fave spot closeby!

1. The order wasn't ready
2. The cook wasn't notified about my order
3. They weren't accepting card payments
So disappointed never coming back! I'd rather go to EL HORNERO which is literally across from this joke.

Ordered food on line and when I got to restaurant they did not have order ready and the cashier told me that restaurant was under new management and that the orders were going to previous owner phone.
So place the order again with her and then she wanted me to pay via Bevmo or zelle or cash. will never go to this place again.

No usan muchos condimentos, no le he sentido el ají no moto, al menos, mo en grandes cantidades como en otros restaurantes peruanos. Los ingredientes son buenos y se disfrutan al comerlos. Eso hace una enorme diferencia cuando un plato está cargado de condimentos. Realmente buena la comida. El servicio es bueno, y los precios son justos. Volveré. Gracias
