The place has a great ambiance, warm and Cousy. It’s a chunk of the outdoor authentic stone fabric of the city with the chapel next door. Food was a high quality with great portions. Price is very decent for a great service. The staff were very generous and kind, they even showed us around the place! Highly recommended!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had a great night. All the staff was superb and very friendly. We were a group of 65 with a set menu. With starter, first plate, main, deserts and coffee. All food was perfectly cooked, the Rib eye, lasagna, rigatoni, salmon, chicken, etc etc etc..... :) and not to forget, they managed to cater for lactose and gluten diets as well. It was a very great experience, and definitely going again. :) Thanks to all the staff for such great experience. This was a perfect hidden gem in Rabat! We have been to many great restaurants now in Malta (been here in May for three weeks and now back for 3 months (sept/oct/nov) we happened upon this restaurant by chance when a nearby restaurant we had planned on going to had no good tables left (and quite a rude server!) so instead we walked a few moments up the street and saw this restaurant with a beautiful courtyard style dining room with tables available, The server (Christian-I think?apologies if I am wrong!) was very friendly and welcomed us in immediately, we saw tables with guests who had lovely food already, so knew we had found a good spot! We were told by our server about the special Tagliata for two (and shown a photo which was very helpful!) and also he informed us what was not on the menu (the lasagne) but that it had been replaced with other options (both sounded like great pastas!) we opted for a local wine from the Meridiana wine estate nearby (Fenici Red- very good for a hotter day!) For our starter we shared the pulled beef croquettes- very good! The mustard aioli was perfect as were the crispy green flakes on top (parsley I think?) I was tempted by many dishes on the menu- all sounded lovely and well thought out for flavours but We Ended up ordering the Tagliata for two and enjoyed it immensely! We also added fries and two other sauces to try and had a great time trying all combinations, steak was well cooked (med-rare) and the wine paired perfectly with the meal, Service was great, not overbearing and we always felt cared for in the restaurant We saw other tables meals were as well presented and most plates were left wiped clean by the other guests- a true statement for a restaurant when everyone is enjoying a variety of dishes! Felt it was very well priced for the portions and service, certainly a better quality of food than some places on island! We will definitely be back- thank you to the team at Il Bitha! Magnifico restaurante bonito limpio con buen servicio,estupenda calidad de comida y una carta de vinos que es una pasada para un sitio que no es un lujoso restaurante Michelin,ni falta que hace. Se come de escándalo,bien atendido y en un ambiente agradable con mucho local maltes. La pata de pulpo a la brasa excepcional,la pasta como en los mejores sitios de Italia,fresca,al dente y con salsa integrada a la perfección. El encargado con el que tuvimos una interesante charla sobre vinos es muy agradable y tiene una de las mejores cartas de vinos relación calidad- precio que he visto nunca,si quieren pegarse un capricho con un Sassicaia o según otro,este es el lugar. We were here on Friday at lunchtime. There was us and another table. Interesting interior solution. Pleasant service. The food is delicious, as is the white wine. Me and my boyfriend went yesterday night for the first time and after the experience yesterday will definitely go again. The food was perfection with amazing flavours and presentation was beautiful, compliments to the chef for the work. We also ordered some cocktails to try, and they did not dissapoint. The appearance was so cute but the taste was even better. A major thank you to the bartender Suhil for the amazing drinks. To top it all off, the service was welcoming and the servers of our table Suhil and Chirstin went out of there way to make the experience top notch. Hats off to the whole team, 100% recommend. Absolute delight! Highly recommended. From the moment we arrived, the staff provided exceptional service, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was simply superb, with the Wild Sea Bass and Pappardelle Prawn Pasta being standout dishes. The portions were generous, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. Not only was the food outstanding, but the prices were surprisingly affordable, offering excellent value for money. The staff's professionalism, friendliness, and attentiveness added to the overall experience, and their generosity in providing extra treats was truly memorable. We finished the evening with a complimentary shot of Limoncello, a perfect ending to an exceptional dining experience.
