We were not overly impressed with the food or service. High priced for the food. My sister ordered the fruit palooza strawberry pancakes. She had 4 small strawberries on top of 2 pancakes. I am not kidding. Pitiful..... Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

By far the best meal I've ever eaten at an IHoP in at least 25 visits. The wife had the spinach and mushroom omlette and I had the country fried steak. The service took a while to start but once we ordered, the kitchen did amazing. Everything was piping hot and perfectly cooked and seasoned as well. Ate here for the first time and was disappointed with the food. My wife's eggs were cold and had to be replaced. My whole breakfast was luke warm which was the sampler plate. Sausage was undercooked and eggs runny. I've eaten at other Ihops and never experienced this. Waitress was very cordial and understanding. Will not eat at this one again. It's Plant City, but because it's Plant City, it's quiet, quaint, charming in its own fashion. There's typically not a lot of customers at any giving moment whenever I visit. The food is great though and the staff are kind and thoughtful. I plan to frequent this establishment in the future. On a Sunday - 11ish - short wait - staff was attentive - coffee (what is it with IHOP coffee - has its own flavor and texture - unique - hits the side and back of the tongue - comforting and smooth) - the steak burrito with bacon and Jalapeños with strawberry waffles ... just damn ... my belly loves you!
