Made a hike from across town and this place well exceeded any expectations. I haven't enjoyed a meal like this in quite some time. The atmosphere is cozy and old country. Never been here before waitresses were great. I had the chicken and ribs. And to my surprise they have great ribs, the big juicy ones not the small ribs. Sweet tea is good as well. About the only thing is they need more seating area, if they did they would have more dine in customers. If you like BBQ this is a must go and try. I was very impressed with the food. We had a great surprise finding this place for a late dinner. They served amazing brisket and mac and cheese. service was SPECTACULAR!! The wonderful energetic " Weena " is a superstar of servers. She went above and beyond during our visit. Super friendly, Welcoming and knowledgeable. Not what we have experienced much on our journey across Florida. A MUST STOP OF YOUR IN THE AREA. Get your best BBQ taste on and just compare it to this deliciousness! You can almost taste it before you hit the door. Great little place just on the outer edge of Tampa. I've not ever been a collared green person (or any cooked veggie) but By-Golly these are the best! Best sides...collared greens, mac-n-cheese, corn casserole & beans. All the meat - chicken, pork or beef is fall off moist and delicious! Order any sandwich with the garlic bread...its THE BEST way to eat it. Totally worth a visit again and again. Absolutely yum!!! I had a brisket dinner. I found the meet tender, but tasteless. I had to smooth it with sauce. The corn casserole tasted uncooked. It's was very mushy and not much flavor. I love cherry cobbler. Again, I was disappointed 😞. It was soft and also seemed uncooked. I fed my dog the brisket. She loved it and through the cobbler in the trash.
