I heard really good things about this place. I was super excited to check it out. Family and I happened to be in the area so we stopped in to check it out. We get seated. The host lets us know our server will be with us shortly. 5 mins passes, no server. We start looking around, we see a server going from table to table. The server stops at the table next to ours, takes their order, reaches over sets a coaster on our table and says I'll be there in a second. Well, a second turns into another 5 minutes with him passing by us to help other tables several times. We continue waiting, and a gal who is busing tables sees we are looking around and says, let me grab your server. We thank her. Finally after about 12 minutes the server shows up to take our drink order. We finally order our drinks and since it has taken this amount of time to see our server we order our food. I finish my beer, my kids and wife finish their lemonades, and our server has walked by, since we finished three times. I finally managed to grab his attention and I asked for refills. He says yes. He brings three lemonades back to the table. I wait and wait and wait. Manage to flag him down again, yes what can I do for you? I was wondering where my drink was at? His response was "oh, you wanted another one too?" So I ordered another drink. By the time it showed up so did our food. No complaints about the food. It was good and hot. I ordered another drink when he passed by again. That's three beers. Nothing special, Coors light. We finish our meal and grab the tab. I can't believe what I received. For three beers, and three lemonades, it was the same price. 18.00 bucks. For a side of fries, fries, ladies and gentlemen fries, over 7 dollars. The food was amazing but happy hour pricing? I think they should reevaluate the overall cost. Definitely some sticker shock on the overall bill of over 100 dollars. Not sure, even with the good food, that I would return anytime soon. Me and my BeeOtches are always looking for a new spot to try new drinks and good food, and we stumbled upon Hops n Drops and love it! Their drink menu is unique and full of all kinds of interesting concoctions and the food menu is packed with delectable items. The atmosphere was bright and cheery and not too loud; it's very important we are able to chit chat the time away. The wait staff was friendly and attentive . . . we enjoyed ourselves and will be going back. It seemed a bit pricey, but everything is nowadays, right? What an eclectic place! They offer craft beers (that's the Hops), signature frozen cocktails (think Lemon Drop served in a funnel of ice), and GREAT FOOD! We just moved to the area (Lake Ki) and this may become our Regular Place (still exploring :). Tasty lunch 😋. Our only complaint.. the fried vegetables should have been blanched first. They were too hard. Bummer since the flavor was delicious! Sandwiches perfect. Service mixed, three individuals and we still had to ask more than once for silverware and sauces. They were pleasant. Well this is our fourth trip to the Hops n Drops in Smokey Point. The food is good, but you can't be in a hurry for it. I think ours took an hour from when we ordered to when we received the food. Looking around that seemed to be the norm. They have very few waitresses considering how many people were there. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

This place has good food and great service. Our order was served quicker than I expected. I am still not used to the prices after COVID. Our two sandwiches and a diet soda were a bit pricey, in my opinion. I guess I will have to get used to the fact that for a restaurant to stay profitable and in business, I will have to pay more. We sat in the bar, and the atmosphere was calm and kinda quiet, but it was closer to closing, so that's pretty expected. The food was absolutely on Point delicious!! The cocktails were tasty and the cider nice and cold. What a great experience for a place super close to home. Thank you. Got seated, right away, by a very pleasant young man. The food was good and the beer was cold but our server was not very personable. Had to remind her, a couple of times, that we had ordered extra guacamole before we actually got it. It was not very busy, at all. This is a good Hops n Drops location. They have good service, great drinks and good food. They serve unique drinks that we really enjoyed. We ordered a Peach Long Island Ice Tea and a White Gummy Bear cocktail, both drinks were delicious. The food was good, especially the smoked rib tips and potato chips nachos. Never coming back! First of all we asked for table for 8 and they couldn't do table for 8 so they gave us a table behind the other table. Me and my family wanted to have dinner together and decided to go there but it was very disappointed to have separated tables. Anyway that's not the reason for 1 star review; the reason why is because the host that gave kids menus to our kids was rude and almost throwing crayons to kids face, we were about to leave but we were hungry and decided to give them a chance, big mistake! They barely came to my table to see if everything was fine, we had to call our waitress a couple of times for service. Not to mention, the lady that was cleaning tables and picking up dishes told our little girl to remain seated and that she was not allowed to be walking around, I just ignored her, my nice wasn't even running she just wanted to be with us and the other table as well. I'm very disappointed and definitely NEVER COMING BACK! Overall, food was okay, you can't go wrong with SALADS! But not to comeback for that worst and disgusting service.
