My son and I went in for breakfast. There was a short wait but nothing crazy. We got a cinnamon roll to split and it was SO good. I got the “breakfast fried rice”. The rice was mushy instead of fried and the basil was so overwhelming that even the hot sauce couldn’t save the dish. My son got hot cider (10:10) one egg, two pancakes, and a side of bacon. He loved the egg. The pancakes were thick and fluffy, I give them 9:10. The side of bacon is as a great value. It was just over $50 for two people. My opinion is that they do what they do and they do it well, stick to the homemade American offerings and I doubt you’ll be disappointed. I ate here Thursday morning. Everyone was nice. I don't normally leave reviews especially negative ones. The thing is, it's now saturday and I'm still dealing with the worst case of food poisoning i've ever experienced. Please dont let this happen to anyone else. Hard to find anything less than very good here, I had Pigs Boogie omelette with a side of home fries, and a side of sausage patties. The omelette, sausage were great. The home fries a tiny bit drier than I like normally but thats my preference, they are well prepared. This of course is way too much food and I didnt finish! The service was excellent, friendly and attentive at the right level. Id go back and will go back next time in Rockland. Breakfast was good. Good flavor, good service, and clean tables. Gluten free options available. I’ll never understand the “wait until your party arrives before being seated” rule when it isn’t crowded. My only suggestion would be to provide more seating outside for those waiting to dine in.
