If there was a minus star rating they would have had it on this day. We usually have great service and good meals here, but today must have been an off day. Food was gathering on the holding shelf. Never have I seen food set so long. Okay, so today I ordered a cup of clam chowder and french fries and my husband ordered a bacon cheeseburger. The cup of soup was brought right off along with our one sofa. We drank our soda. Of course I wanted my chowder brought with the other food we had ordered, so the chowder just sat there waiting on the rest of our order. Needless to say, we left as we had waited over a half hour. The waitress than appeared out of nowhere to tell us we had to pay for our food. My husband and I both said, "What food"? That we had already waited over half an hour. Look at the holding counter. It's loaded with orders!!!

Very local friendly place, one of those " everyone seems to know everyone"... Staff is friendly and cocktail waitress/waiters are some of the busiest in the area.

The food would be far better if the cooks (all of them) would be trained better. There is no consistency from cook to cook, or shift to shift. I ordered a breakfast item two different times and it was completely different each time. CONSISTENCY and PRIDE in your job goes a long way.

I've been working in the Coffee Shop for 3 months. I work with some of the best people ever. From the day of my interview they all made me feel like family and they are extremely supportive. I can honestly say I Love My Job....... 🥰☺️

Hobey's is a clean, bright casino. It's a nice place to try your luck on some slot machines or have some drinks at the video poker bar. They do not have a hotel or any amenities. There is a steakhouse but I have not tried it. Parking has never been a problem.

we love the employees, the people are great. Hobeys is cose to us. the cafe is a favorite of ours and the steak house is great. we liked even before we mive here. Now we love it.

If you like smelling like cigarettes and cheap street walker and bad customer service this place is the place for you after coming for my first time the atms were down was told it would cost $2 so I waited in line after 20 minutes they wanted to charge me like 10 or 12 ... second the tech guy told me to shut up because I was mad he was goofing off when the slot I was on stopped working . Took him 30 minutes.. not once did I get asked for a cocktail they all just looked at me talking .. I have never seen such a sad Display of stupidity and Ignorance... I wanted to try this place because Its closer to home but I'm never coming back !!!! Im top tier in 2 casinos so it's your loss because I spend a lot at the casinos it's amazing that this company is still standing

No comments on the casino, but the two restaurants are probably the best in the immediate area. The dinner house is actually quite good; the coffee shop, although open fairly late has just so so offerings for lunch and dinner, but the breakfast is not too shabby.

Disclaimer: I don't usually write reviews, maybe ever done twice before this but felt the need to after this horrendous time at the coffee shop Used to be great when i would get brought here as a kid into the coffee shop for some delicious food, now that I come here on my days off occasionally it's nothing but down hill with the so-called "manager" Bob who seats you as you come up to the coffee shop not showing any concern whatsoever about the waitress getting both of our plates of food wrong after putting in two other tables orders before when they sat down after ?? Long story short terrible customer service all around lately besides from the workers who have been there since I was a kid. Waitress Cat yelled at us when she couldn't hear our order correctly and when we expressed our concerns to Bob he said you can go ahead and leave which is when I asked why it seems like he didn't care about our service when he publicly & loudly said he didn't care multiple times and also said we could go somewhere else.. an hour down the drain.

Great portions for the price! Definitely you will have leftovers. Check out this giant chili dog! That's my finger for scale. We also ordered their Parmesan crusted grilled cheese. Which sounded like a good idea, but the parmesan crust was too much flavor wise for me to handle. Our lovely server said we could order it without it, which I plan to do because the insides of the grilled cheese was amazing!!! If you like mozzarella sticks, these are the real deal with a bountiful portion of oozing cheese inside the stick. We ordered the fried zucchini, but I wouldn't order that again because the ratio of breading to zucchini was not to my personal tastes. (Mostly breading, very skinny stem of zucchini) as a mom I would recommend this as a way to get vegetables into kids because it's probably not too much zucchini for a kid and mostly breading to where they would it. 😜😂😂 But the adult in me prefers a nice wedge of zucchini for my zucchini sticks. If you're an onion ring lover these are the onion rings you seek. They are big bountiful honest onion rings. They're soup of the day was cream of mushroom and it was very flavorful and delicious with real slices of big mushrooms in it. Overall extremely happy with the visit and I will definitely be back.
