I love all the workers! The only think I don’t love is how everything is cooked. The pasta is always undercooked and over cooked at the same time, the meat is always too fatty and dry, and the vegetables are always burnt in sections but uncooked in other sections. It also is always the same food, which gets old, and it always makes me sick afterwards.

terrible. makes me want to transfer from umaine. the chicken has been served raw. there is no variety. for a state flagship school this is unnacceptable. cobwebs by the windows. if you cant even clean the outside, how clean is the inside where the food is cooked? compare it to umd's dining hall and you will be angry.

Ignore all reviews regarding food that aren't from at least 2023, they have since gotten a new distributor that I get sick whenever I eat from. They used to have variety but now it's the same terrible food every day. At least the staff are nice

I like the nacho bar that they have occasionally, and they have feta cheese and Greek dressing at the salad bar.

The food is has gone downhill significantly in the last few months. I would highly recommend avoiding hilltop dining. It's edible, just bad unless they are doing a campus tour. The staff are good, just bad food.

The frozen yogurt and pineapple are amazing. Other than that everything, including and especially the salad, gives me and my friends extreme stomach issues. We only eat here when we have to but the good food on campus has to be payed for and isn’t on the dining plan.

Staffs there treat me very rudely and with no respect. I tried to have a take out order but I didn’t know my meal plan doesn’t work for take out. They didn’t just stop me but also embarrass me. I don’t know why, just because my skin color? I don’t know. If they can be nicer and show even just a little bit respect that would be wonderful. I will definitely talk with the person at complainant office. I am feeling very bad. They are full of arrogance and rudeness. They should understand that dining is still a service industry and UMaine should put some time on training they dining people how to treat students.

Doing alright through the whole COVID situation, the actual meals can sometimes be good, but the desserts are consistently excellent. Whoever the baker is, they need a raise :)))))

I think I sit outside Hilltop dining hall for a while at one point last week. I'm sure I can go inside. But I might have stood outside. It was a hot day and I was grateful for the shade, which is why I'm giving Hilltop dining hall four stars. they don't get the fifth star because they wouldn't let non-students in and I really wanted a cold drink on that hot day.
