We don't normally write reviews but we want everyone to know about this hidden gem!! Firstly we were warmly greeted by our waitstaff. The menu is unique and varied!! For starters we shared an order of coconut shrimp that were succulent! The best we've ever tasted!! I had a delicious, full rack of tender ribs!! I had to take half of my meal home because it was such a generous portion!! My wife had the best chicken satay she has ever tasted!! She also had to take half of her meal home!. We booked our next reservation (while in the restaurant) to return within a few days. Wish we had found the Hillside so much earlier on this trip!! Best meal on Bonaire!!

After days of being stuck on a resort with limited food options, we were really eager to find a place that served a variety dishes. So that we did and we were not at all disappointed. The staff has been all smiles and super friendly and helpful with menu. Food was equally great, delicious fresh ingredients. To top it off, we were hooked up with the best table in the house, overlooking the town with lights glistening from afar. Ambiance is really nice, lighting & music is perfect. Quesadilla
Voorgaande jaren heel vaak (+-20x) bij Hillside gegeten. Het eten en de service was goed. Afgelopen weken 2 keer geweest en helaas een stuk minder. Gisteravond waren er eerst 3 tafels bezet, al vrij snel waren alleen wij er nog. We hebben dik 1:45 uur op ons eten gewacht en ons 2e drankje aan de bar moeten bestellen. Er was veel personeel, maar deze waren drukker met elkaar en telefoons bezig dan met het eten/service. Na 1.5 uur gevraagd waar het bleef. Daarna nog gewacht en kwam het eten. We kregen alsnog verkeerde bijgerechten. Burger (medium besteld) was aan de binnenkant echt rood en was koud. De kaas op de burger ook. Snitzel was taai en leek opgewarmd. Helaas voor ons niet weer. Dumplings waren lekker. Vandaar nog 1 ster.

Very good food and view. Nice place. Service needs training just like everywhere in the island. I recommend the sirloin steak, carpaccio, tomato soup and key lime pie
