The empanadas were delicious, but for seven dollars apiece they are extremely small and barely fill a cavity. Very disappointed in the Potato spiral. We were immediately greeted with a smile and warm welcome from the owner. I had the mushroom + caramelized onion empanada and my daughter had the beef empanada. Both were made to order and so flavorful. Get the sweet potato fries and homemade iced tea; you won't be disappointed. The owner and her daughter were so kind and patient with us. Stopped at HiQ Empanadas today and was very impressed. The empanadas were so tasty and unique. My family especially loved the mushroom & caramelized onion, jerk chicken, and cheesesteak. The pastry was so fluffy and not super oily at all. We also tried the hiQ spiral which was a really fun treat. Needless to say, we will be back for more treats.
