The staff were very welcoming and polite when I came in. During the rush the staff seemed like they were in control. Lexus was my server and made me feel like a party of 12 even though it was only me. The food was great, not too long of a wait. First off we were the first come in we were mugged skipped all over no one checked with us until 40 mins later and then the lady didn’t remember what to do with us the guy completely passed us in assist the white couple I guess since we was black we had to waited remind u it’s 9 of us he finally come to us after one of us approach him that. We are getting ignore he comes to take our order no pen no paper so we made it easy in. Order all burger he still did them the way he wanted not how WE wanted 0 out of 10 in giving racist

We have been traveling from Memphis to Greenville MS to run the Mississippi River Marathon and always stop at Hey Joe’s for lunch on the way back to Memphis. We have always had a great experience there until today. We placed our order and asked for a half pound order of wings as an appetizer. They brought us a full pound. The gentleman that brought them to the table said he would get it changed on our ticket to only pay for a half. The server came to the table and said she remembered it as us ordering a full pound. Anyway, without looking I signed the bill. 10 miles down the road I looked at the ticket and realized what happened. There were other mistakes made with the 3 burger orders but we let that slide. The server took our order from memory and it didn’t work out well. I would suggest they go back to a ticket order and repeat it back to the customer. That is all!!! This restaurant is a wonderful burger joint. Great food!! I love the patio!! The owners are small business owners. They have a place (heyJoes#2) in Merigold, MS. They also operate a fantastic Mexican restaurant that joins Hey Joes in Cleveland, MS I love their chicken nachos. You can choose anything topping you want for your burrito- taco- salad etc You will love these restaurants.
