This coffee shop is way too expensive and they aren't transparent with their pricing. I was excited to try this cafe while I was out shopping. On the menu board, a 12 oz latte is listed as $5.50. I could not find the pricing for the syrups (vanilla/hazenut/etc) on the menu board, but assumed it would be 70ish cents? I ordered a 12 oz hazelnut latte, and my bill was $7.30! They charge $1.20 to add a flavor!! The drink is way overpriced and was nothing special. Unfortunately, I can't justify going back again with such steep prices. The Baristas were wonderful and very helpful. But the prices for the food and drink I received were outrageous and higher then other shops. My visit to He Brews Coffee in Lynnwood, WA, was concerning. High prices will deter customers, and the owners' unsettling behaviour of constantly staring at patrons makes you feel uncomfortable. Staff is friendly and the place is nice, but some of the worst coffee I've ever had. The barista was also extremely slow at making drinks. It took far too long to make our 2 drinks with only 1 person/drink ahead of us. 4 stars because I like supporting local businesses, but I wouldn't recommend if you care about the taste of coffee. I have been looking for a new coffee shop, for years. I have found it. This is the best coffe shop I have found in Lynnwood. It has a Seattle esq vibe, small enough to do some work in, not overly loud,friendly service and a fantastic Mocha! Best coffee I have purchased in a very long time. There are snack options that I have not tried. But overall, if you want to treat yourself to coffee, you won’t be disappointed with your purchase.
