Stopped in to buy a General but came out with lots of snacks and yummy treats. Nestled in the quaint Harrisville downtown this is a must stop next time you are cruising through Southern NH’s back roads. We saw an episode on Chronicle about the town including the General Store and had to go. The reviews were spot on as everyone was super friendly and the egg salad sandwich and turkey roll up were excellent and very fresh. Was staying around the area for a wedding during their off season and so little to no cafes or restaurants were opened nearby. This general store/cafe was the only thing available for most of the wedding guests to pick up supplies and quick food. Although, they were a little backed up they were still very polite and were able to manage the chaos. I absolutely enjoyed the egg sandwich and crullers. All tasted very fresh!
