I used to looove this place and would regularly order food and drive from Sterling to Holyoke to pick it up but the last 2 times I’ve eaten here the food, even the regular ribs, were entirely too spicy to eat. I felt like I wasted my money. Sadly, unless they dial back the heat and offer hot sauce on the side, I will no longer be frequenting this establishment. Yesterday my husband stopped and got the Philly sandwich and it was so spicy, and this man loves the heat, so for him to say it was too spicy is saying a lot. A sandwich that has no business being spicy……sad day.
Great food, good service, food came out fast. I really liked the atmosphere inside.

A friend took me to Happy Jack's being a Texas man good barbecue, brisket, pulled pork, ribs, it's hard to impress me but they did, also you have to try the fried bologna

Very spicy and hot and not the sauce! My husband loves food with heat and he said it was to. Disappointed, because typically the food has been very good here. Turn down the heat, please!

Used to love this place I usually go there once a month...ordered the smoked turkey sandwich the meat was so dry and chewy and the service was terrible girl up front seemed annoyed to talk to me and it took about 45 min just to get a dried out sandwich... will try them again and will edit the review if it improves
