Living in the Bay area, we are used to good Chinese foods, including those in Chinatown. We are happily surprised to find the dishes in remote Chester delicious, each with ample quantity, and a large selections on the menu. Service was quick and pleasant. What a nice find!! Had the lunch special that was very good value for money. Took half in a box back with me for later. Customer service was excellent and the food came out fast and hot! Excellent food and service at this family run restaurant. We had dinner both nights we stayed in Chester. On the second night, the owner was kind enough to allow us to order takeout even though we arrived right at closing time, and they had actually closed for the night. Besides the beef chow mein I also had the hot and sour soup, which was excellent. I try to stop here every time I'm in Chester. This time I had to get my meal to go. Usually I dine in. Have come here for dinner twice now and the food is just incredible. The dinner deal is priced like NO OTHER and every dish has been so so so so good. Incredibly well priced, the portions are big. Comforting food in Chester CA! We stayed in Chester while visiting Lassen Volcanic National Park, and ate dinner at Happy Garden both nights! It looks like a family run place and the food and service was good. They made Kung pao vegetables even though it wasn’t on their menu and it was delicious! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Awesome food, loved the chive cakes, my shrimp 'n snowpeas were yummy, Hubs ordered a very spicy pork dish, he was happy with.
